What is Plein Air Painting?
 “Plein air” is a French term meaning; out of doors. Artists head outside to capture the beauty around them — and now it’s your turn! From beaches and creeks to playgrounds and the marina, inspiration is everywhere.

How It Works
• Arrive at 10 AM to check in and receive your Plein Air Painting Kit — everything you need to create your outdoor masterpiece.
• Explore Northport and choose your perfect painting spot.
• Set up, paint, and let your creativity shine!
• Return to the tent by 3 PM for a community art display (3–4 PM).
• Celebrate your artwork, see what other young artists created, and enjoy lemonade and cookies with friends.

A Note for Families!
We are so excited to paint outdoors together! Youth Paint! Plein Air Experience is a shared creative event— childcare is not provided. We encourage parents and caregivers to stay and enjoy the event alongside their young artists.
By registering, you acknowledge this is an unsupervised, family-attended event and you are responsible for your child’s safety and wellbeing during the session.
