The first Northport Photography Show is open to all photographers, both amateur and professional and all subject matter.*

This is a popular weekend in Northport as we have visitors that come from near and far to see Cars in the Park, Leelanau counties longest running auto show. The Village Arts Building, home of the Northport Arts Association, is only 2 blocks away. We will feature a photo booth with a car theme to draw visitors to the photography show.

Friday, May 25 - Reception, Show and Sale 6pm - 9pm

Saturday, May 26 - Show and Sale 10am - 4pm

 

Sales: 70% to Photographer after sales tax, 30% to Northport Arts Association. Sales will be made through NAA, Photographers will receive receipts of sale and checks within 10 days after the show.

Space: 32 - approximately 8’w x 6’h wall/panel spaces available - First come basis. Space can be shared. One free standing photo bin within your space is accepted.

Involvement: Photographer participation during the show is requested. This includes helping guests, helping with photo booth and more. We are considering having opportunitie to give a presentation about your photography or a specific style, equipment etc. This brings people in. More info to come.

Specifications: *All subject matter is acceptable, but note that NAA does have a nudity policy which can be found on line. Work must be installation-ready meaning it must be wired for hanging. Saw tooth hangers and small wire loops on the back of inexpensive frames are not acceptable along with poorly constructed frames and poorly cut mats. Photos must be for sale. No “not for sale” items in the show. Work must remain on exhibit for the entire show.
